BIFCU is a non profit organization financial institution serving the employees of Duquesne Light (BI and Elrama) and First Energy (Beavery Valley Power Station) and their families. We are not a traditional bank – we are owned by our members and are able to return our earnings to them through higher savings rates and offer low or no fee products. This relationship also allows us to offer lower loan rates than many of our competitors.

BIFCU is led by a volunteer Board of Directors, who are elected by the membership. The Board establishes the policies used to run day to day operations in the office.

Member Account Verification

Our independent CPA firm, J Martin & Associates (jmA), is assisting our Supervisory Committee in conducting our biennial member account verification.  Please review the accuracy of your account balance(s) on your June 2024 statements.  No reply is required if you agree with your account balance(s).  If you discover a discrepancy, please get in touch with jmA directly at info@jma.cpa , via phone at 724-622-6563, or in writing at PO Box 498, Beaver, PA  15009-0498.
